Application and description:

This PTFE tape insulation single-core MIL-W-22759/86 wires are used for MIL-Spec and Aerospace, these cables

are normal weight, high-performance, aerospace hook up wireswith insulation composed of PTFE/polyimide/PTFE

tape and PTFE tape in severalconfigurations. These wires are designed for aerospace and other applications

which require excellent thermal stability and good abrasion resistance.

Construction Details:

Military Cable

Sizes 10 to 26 have a PTFE/K/PTFE layer construction. Sizes 6 to 8 have a PTFE layer with an intermediate K

layer and a top PTFE layer. Sizes 4 to 04 have a PTFE layer with an intermediate K layer and two top PTFE

layers.

Construction:

Conductor: Stranded silver plated copper conductor

Insulation: Fluoropolymer/Polyimide Tape Insulation

Insulating Material Thickness: Size 10 to 26 - 0.5 mm; Size 6 to 8 - 0.6 mm; Size 4 - 0.6 mm; Size 2 to 04 - 0.6

mm
